POTV

How PoTV works.

Nodes have to process as many transactions as they possibly can in a specific amount of seconds (amount depends on how busy the network is and how many nodes are active). How many transactions they process in that time gives their TVS or Transaction Velocity Score. The TVS works a bit like lottery tickets, and a random ticket will be chosen as validator of that block and will receive the block reward. For example, if you process 80 transactions within 10 seconds while somebody else processes 20 transactions in the same 10 seconds, you will have a bigger chance (80%) of becoming a validator than the other entity (20%). However, the other entity still has chance.

Other info:

15 million coins released at start.

750.000 new coins every year, all of it goes to the validators. There will be inflation, however the inflation percentage will decrease and this is needed to keep the transaction fees as low as possible.

The software of the nodes will be so light in terms of memory that you can run it while having multiple tabs open and you can even put it in your website to generate some extra money on your blog for example.
